TekInvaderZ is on lookout for Application Support Engineer. Roles and Responsibilties are as belows:

Responsible for supporting multiple functional rich high availability business applications and highly demanding business users. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to trouble-shooting complex issues, managing critical incidents and bridge calls, problem analysis, process improvement, automating repetitive tasks, maintaining knowledge base and documentation.Work closely with business partners to provide in-depth second level support, troubleshooting, and incident response, and incident, problem and change management.

Lead problem analysis and resolution for technology products, business applications and/or services. This role will also have primary responsibilities for supporting AFD/CB&T applications.

Respond to inquiries, requests for information or support, and escalations from Level 1 support and/or other technology or business users. Respond to production incidents and helps resolve and/or escalate in a timely manner.

Provide post-implementation and system checkout support for changes to production applications and services and provide information and updates to tasks and incidents in the appropriate systems and knowledge base tools.

Coordinate with other technology groups to resolve incidents and problems, and escalates complex problems to the next level of support as required by documented procedures. May perform as incident manager to ensure resolution and follow up.

Participate in incident management calls and problem analysis and cause elimination process (es). Ensure timely communication to the impacted parties during an incident.

Analyze production incidents after they are resolved and engage in the problem analysis phase to help prevent future incidents. Liaison with application development teams to track and incorporate changes to prevent future incidents.

Develop and/or gather metrics to assist in problem analysis and resolution, and supports efforts to improve system monitoring tools and processes to continually improve the service delivery and support model for the client's end users.

The responsibilities of this position may require on-call time or work outside normal business hours.

Operating Systems: HP UX 11i, Solaris, Red Hat Linux and Windows
Tools: Rapid SQL, Toad, SQL Advantage, Daytona FIX Flyer, SWIFT monitor, BMC Remedy Suite, HP Openview console, OMI Alert console. Autosys unicenter, Jaws, WCC - Workload control center , Splunk.
Internal Applications: ETP - Equity Trading Platform, FXP - Foreign Exchange OPAC- Order Processing and Compliance, CRD - Charles River Development COPS CRMC Order Processing System

Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or related field.

Hours per week: 40hrs
Employement Type: Full Time, Long Term.
Compensation: $65000 USD Annually
